North Shore Magazine, the premier lifestyle magazine of Boston's North Shore, and Drinkwater Productions, renowned for creating the nation's finest events, along with Kiss 108 FM, invite you to participate in the 2008 Salem cocktail competition. In this event, bar staff from the City's favorite restaurants and bars will compete for the ultimate prize: Best Signature Drink title and a full-page advertisement in North Shore Magazine.
For over 23 years, thousands of bartenders from around the globe have participated in similar events. Now, for the first time, this concept has been expanded to the city of Salem, MA. This first year, we are proud to join more than 10 bartenders from local establishements to put Salem on the mixology map!
The event will kick off right here on Pickering Wharf. Tasters can purchase an access pass at the Salem Trolley or at www.salemcocktail.com to visit all participating bars and restaurants. Ticket holders will receive a 1/2-oz. serving of each signature cocktail. Full servings of signature cocktails will be offered for the special price of $4.00. All pass holders will vote for the best Salem Signature Cocktail. The winning cocktail will be announced at the wrap-up party from 8PM - 10PM.
